About 28,000 units of the strollers are listed in the recall. They were sold nationwide in 2015 and 2016 at a variety of “big box” stores.
According to another recall notice, nearly two dozen reports have been made of certain motorcycle clip-on handlebars cracking and failing, causing riders to face a possible crash hazard. About 3,000 units have been recalled. The product was made in the United Kingdom.
Bike Safety Helmet Recalled
Sometimes a product recall pertains to an item that was designed to make our lives safer but, due to a manufacturing defect or design error, fails to do its job. One example of this is the recent recall of an adult multi-sport helmet that was recalled because of a hazard involving the buckle on the helmet. Due to the defect, the helmet might malfunction and could possibly cause a head injury. About 4,600 units are involved in the recall. The product was manufactured in China.
School Bus Recall
Even school buses are not beyond the possibility of a product recall. Earlier this month, a school bus company recalled about 25 buses because they pose a risk of a head injury to a seat occupant on the bus, due to a problem with the D-ring mounting studs. According to the government’s recall website, there is insufficient padding between the mounting stud and the occupant’s head. The bus company has agreed to notify the owners of the bus and provide a remedy kit, free of charge.
